 Sport Canterbury Club Mark - GOLD Medal
Being a ClubMark club signals to the wider community that it is a well organised, viable and healthy organisation.
ClubMark is an initiative developed by Healthy Sports Clubs Christchurch made up of Sport Canterbury, ACC, Christchurch City Council, Community and Public Health and Haura Matauraka. ClubMark assists sports clubs to become viable, healthy and injury free through auditing and advisory services.
There are three different levels to achieve within ClubMark. Once the process has been completed, the points are tallied and a Gold, Silver or Bronze ClubMark is awarded.
Club 10
Club 10 is a Gymsports New Zealand quality assurance and risk management programme for clubs. It is designed to assist clubs to identify, prioritise and implement effective management strategies.
The Club's current management practices are compared against National Standards and Benchmarks by way of an external assessment - Audit.
Christchurch School of Gymnastics was one of 9 clubs involved in the Pilot Scheme in 2005 and assisted with finalising the programme to meet NZ needs.
We are pleased to report that Gymsports New Zealand were very impressed with our club, and we await the full roll out of the Club 10 programme so that we can officially become a Star 5 Club.
